For me, anything that meets the following weather criteria passes:

- Average of less than 1 foot of snow annually
- Humidity comparable to the US average or lower

I'd say for most weather is far less important than other aspects. Of the ~320 million Americans most don't choose to live in a place that has consistent great weather.

For me it's up there. It isn't as important as job opportunities and salaries, but it is a very important factor because I thrive in warm, sunny climates, so for me places south of VA, or western states like AZ and CA would be ideal for me.
