If you had a choice to live in either metro Houston, Texas or the Triad of North Carolina, which one would you prefer to live in? Why?

NORTH CAROLINA!!!!!! I live in Houston and I don't like it because it's too HOT and too flat. We have two seasons, hot and not so hot. Any place in North Carolina in better than any place in Texas to me. The HOT weather is enough reason for me to move.

I love N.C. and grew up in Winston-Salem, but it wasn't big enough for me and I moved away. So I would choose Houston because it's a big city with big city amenities.

Yeah, the Triad is a little to small for me too.

I'd choose the Winston Salem area. A really nice, beautiful area. Houston's WAY too hot/humid for me and a bit too big. If you want big city amenities, Charlotte's an hour away from Winston Salem.

I'd have to say Houston. I'd rather (personally) live in a big city & I think Houston has a lot more to do than say the Triad area.
