Im just surprised that these places got snow and Mississippi also did too.

It stuck for a little longer than that I would say. It snowed from I'd say 2 PM or so, until 9 PM in Houston. The ground started cooling as the sun went down. New Orleans got most of its snow early this morning.

In 3rd Ward it started around about 4 or 5 and lasted for about 5-6 hours.

It started snowing here in Uptown Houston around 3:30pm and it didn't stop till about 8:30pm. All the snow had melted away by the time I woke up in the morning for work but there were several cars in the parking garage at work with snow still on it. They probably drove in from the east side of town. I heard it was heavier over there.

It hasn't snowed in Seattle yet. It hasn't even dropped below 32 so far. But it is going to snow on Saturday and Sunday
