Some of Orlando's intown neighborhoods are quite lovely. I went to school in Winter Park...it's still one of my favorite places.

Moved from the true south (Arkansas) to a border state (Missouri). I like it much better, but I hope to go farther north someday. This 3-4 inches of snow just isn't cutting it. Not very good for snowmobiling. Ice fishing would be too risky as well.
I've found the people up north to be much nicer.. to me anyway. I just didn't have any business living in Arkansas, my native state.

Once I get my degree next year, I will be heading back north.

I heard Lake Mary is a nice area but I wouldn't know. I think Orlanda gets screwed weather wise too. The summers are hotter then S.Florida but the winters are colder...lol

Are you serious? Winter Park has some lovely neighborhoods. The streets that wind around Lake Maitland (the 'Vias')and Lake Virginia are undeniably beautiful.
