Say washington DC didnt exist. What city would you choose to be the Capitol of the USA.


I would pick Boston. I think the town is so rich in history and a lot started there when this country was only 13 colonies.

Philadelphia is a close second, and that was the capitol at some point

I would say Philadelphia....it was originally the capital and is the birthplace of our nation. But I would just as soon keep it in Washington, since the nation's capital automatically becomes a terrorist target, and I don't want that in PA.

I would stratigically move it to the center of the country. KCMO or STL or Denver. Somewhere like that.

I would move it to the middle of the country. Chicago or Denver probably make the most sense as there's no natural disasters to contend with such as hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes, etc.
