Which Regional Climate Do You Like the Most?
Fellow U.S. forummers, which region's climate do you like the most, Northeast/New England, Mid-Atlantic, Mid-West, Southeast, Mountain West, Southwest, Northern California, Southern California, Pacific Northwest, Alaska, or Hawaii? Why?

I chose the Southeast. This area has the greatest variety of seasons and temperature variances.

Hawaii, the combination of temps, humidity (i like it humid), trade winds, and consistent temps make it my favorite climate. After that I'd choose Southern CA, always comfortable and not too hot or cold but is a little chilly in winter and somewhat too dry compared to Hawaii, but still damn close to perfect.

Hawaii. I'm sitting here typing in shorts and bare feet with all the windows open. Merry Christmas!

As a life-long Chicagoan who has seen all 4 seasons encompassed in a single day here, I'm starting to believe that changing seasons is becoming way overrated as I get older (I love the fall, but it often only lasts a couple of weeks - usually, there's a snap from summer to winter). Therefore, my vote goes to Southern California.

Its obvious SoCal will win this and it probably should. I have only spent a week there so i didnt feel right voting for it. Therefore i voted for the next best thing, the Southeast. I love heat and summer time and ive spent quite a while in that area.

I dont know about the other regions, but both Northern and Southern California are so varied in climate-meaning on the same day it can be up to a variance of 40 degrees in daily high temps in either half of the state.
Id say the winning 'region' is the all the land within 25 miles of the Pacific Ocean from Richmond, CA all the way to the US/ Mexico Border.
