I'd also have to vote for Mammoth. Beautiful scenery, and tons of snow. A few years back, I went snowboarding there in July.

WASHINGTON:
mission ridge,
49 degrees north,
crystal mountain,
the summit,
hurricane ridge,
white pass,
mt. baker
CALIFORNIA:
big bear,
alta sierra,
sugar bowl,
sierra summit
CANADA:
whistler,
sun peaks,
cypress mountain
COLORADO:
aspen,
vail,
breckenridge,
powderhorn,
crested butte

they were all good, buttttt mt. baker is def one of my favorites.

My favorite is still Winter Park, Colorado. Fantastic resort.

CO:
Probably Beaver Creek, Winter Park (been a few years, though), and Vail or Breckenridge, in that order.
OR:
Mt Bachelor. Smaller than the big CO places, lower elevation (= easier breathing), lots of terrain parks, usually a ridiculous amount of snow. Again, like New Mexico, there is little competition within the state.

(Disclaimer: I've not skiied Tahoe or anywhere in UT, yet.)
