NYC of course, then Chicago and LA. Chicago is a beast in its own right. I can't understand people who bash LA. If you can't get your groove back in LA then there is no hope for you. There is always something to do and see. Walking on Hollywood Blvd is an event.

I'd have to vote for Singapore. It is clean, orderly, low crime, friendly and beautiful. I wish I could afford to live there.

Heidelberg, Germany is my favorite. It's a fantastic city with loads of beauty and things to do. The citizens are friendly and the food is fantastic.

I'm in this boat as well. I've been to many Western European cities (Madrid, Berlin, London, Amsterdam, Paris to name a few) as well as cities in Asia, North America, South America, etc. but Prague remains on the top of my list of places to see. I've never met anyone who could say anything bad about Prague in terms of its sheer beauty and urbanity. I could sit and drool over pictures for hours.

Now, as for cities that I've been to:

U.S. cities: Boston. Dense, cultured, entertaining. Beautiful contrasting architectural types really bring the history of this town to life like few other American cities.

International: Quebec City, Canada. It's in a league of its own. European feel, close to home. It's a gem. The culture, the architecture, and the layout are like no other city in North America. It's built on an ancient street grid, with stunning French architecture and charm all set among the backdrop of Eastern Canada. No other city is similar. To top it all off, it's really affordable. I can't say enough positive about this city.

Toronto because it is very clean, very "diverse"(unofficially the most diverse city in the world), friendly and plenty to do.

I think San Francisco out of all the cities i've been to. I love the weather and cool air, the friendly people, i dont love the congestion of downtown during the week but other than that it has to be the best city in my opinion.
