I bet people would respect you more if you wouldn't jump out every person who bashed Houston and/or Texas.
I agree especially with your last post. Many people become annoyed with the city's residents because of their aggressiveness to attack other posts when something they see they do not like. It's great to correct a poster about their inaccurate description of the city. It's another to boast and repeat certain "facts' over and over and then bring down the other city to boosts yours.

Most of Texas Population lives in the triangle that is where the figures are coming from.

DFW to San Antonio/Austin to Houston. This is about the same size as Tenn or Ga. We can't help if developers in Atlanta squeeze everything into one small area and in Texas it gives us a chance to breathe, plus another water to flush. Sorry guy your dog can't hunt

Oh yeah, NYC, Boston, San Francisco, etc. are even worse off as they are more compact cities. They're going down the drain as we speak. If Atlanta's dog can't hunt, those dogs are just dead. Poor things.

Yes, Austin is the next Atlanta. Also, Bismarck, North Dakota is the next Kansas City...Jefferson City, Missouri is the next Honolulu and Spokane, Washington is the next Chicago. And just for the record, the state of Maine is the next West Virginia. All clear now?

Sounds pretty reasonable to me. Oh, and Baton Rogue is the next Las Vegas, you forgot that one.

I don't know what came over me! I also forgot that Reno is the next Pittsburgh, and Minneapolis is the next St. Paul.

No way will the people of Austin let that happen, or will they?
