I did better on my first test than I did on any of the subsequent tests, so I think there is definitely some luck involved. Definitely fun though .

A hint to placing states like Kansas with no adjacent states to help you: Take note of the lake boundaries, coastline, latitude of other states, etc to visualize state boundaries that will help you figure out the general neighborhood. Even if you're off, you'll still be close.

Avg. Error = 6 Miles; Score 98%. I had 49 out of 50 perfect. I just screwed up Colorado because I had a difficult time picturing where it would be when there were no other reference points around it. It's just a big box! LOL!

82% 31 Miles.

I bet if we give this out the general public, they won't know at all.

Ok, new challenge. Can anyone do this in under 100 seconds? The best I can do is 102 with 49 out of 50, going super fast.

It didn't help that Missouri was the first one I got, lol. Great way to start it off with a state that's in the middle of the country!

I got 92%, 13 miles, 270 seconds.

Thanks to whoever posted this for killing a large chunk of my time !

I think that this officially proves that coastal/Great Lakes states are better than the vast undifferentiated mass in the middle! (oh goodness, I'm just kidding before somebody from Kansas or Wyoming blows an artery )

Although this game is fun does it really matter if you move the state of Iowa two centimeters to the right of where it's supposed to be? As long as you know the general area of where the state is supposed to be you will be fine.
