For someone whose income is 60,000 per year. So how much is his/her net income per month?
Just curious. How does the payslip look like?

Thanks

What is your filing status (head of household, single, married filing jointly, etc)?
What is your state income tax rate?
How many deductions?
How much (if any) goes to pretax deductions (IRA, 529, etc)?

In other words, it depends greatly on your individual circumstances.

Yeah that's about right for TX, because my dad makes about 4k a month, and for year he makes about 70-80k.

It varies widely since some states like TX and FL have no state income tax.
