Utah is not a word that lends itself easily to lyrical poetry, but Marty Robbins featured "Utah Carol" in his classic album "Gunfighter Ballads and Trail Songs". I can't imagine Ray Charles soinging "Gonna send you back to Utah---Baby, Wha'd I say". Or Elvis singing "Utah Rain". Nothing could be finer than to be in Utah in the morning". "Stars fell on Utah". "Utah, Here We Come".

VERMONT ???

Washington will be very difficult, althouth there have been songs about Washington DC, and about Washington Square, inNew York City. One about DC would be Roving Gambler by George Hamilton IV:
"I gambled down in Washington, gambled over in Spain "

Except for things like college fight songs, it is possible that there is no song mentioning
Washington the state.

RE: KY, there's the classic old Bluegrass song "Blue Moon of KY", and Elvis's "KY Rain".
Don't forget "My Old Kentucky Home". I thought this would be the first choice. It's even on the KY state quarters.
