Americans are either blind or don't wanna see the elephant in their own living rooms... just take a peak at these boards. Civil war in USA is likely. Just answer this, how many people you know who has a firearm?

So, the question is: are you ready?

The US, may be in a economic slowdown, but that won't even be close enough to trigger at least 5% of what this man is talking about.

It is just wishful thinking that is all. Obviously, this man still has dreams of a Soviet Union, that will remains the World's only Superpower. The Soviet Union is dead and buried- a relic of the failed Communist ideaology. People like this "professor" needs to realize that.

firearm? you must be kidding lol with all the artillary the army has a firearm will suffice?
no. it's not how many firearms there are, it's more about the terrible divide that happens when people get too "into" their party. I am a republican, but I don't agree with everything republican, and I'm sure most people affiliated with one party or another don't agree with most of the party's philosophy. I did not vote for Obama, but now that he will be president, I hope he will do a good job. and I hope republicans will not start a war even though they STRONGLY disagree with his veiws. The Democrats tried to fight the fact that a Republican won the white house, but that's as far as it went.
to tell the truth, based on what happened in 2004, I did worry that if Obama loses we'll get a war

I wasn't talking about the different opinions in these boards, I was talking about the lack of empathy for another human being regardless and the "solutions" some are ready to enforce. Again, just look around. To me, from the outside, looks scary!

Predictions by Dr. JerichoHW

Russian Daily Commie

Dr. JerichoHW has some dire thoughts that Russia will end by 2010. Siberia will be owned by Canada following Canada's launch of Operation Canadian Bacon. And George Bush will take control of the Kremlin and spend all of Russias resources in Iraq. But are these prediction for real, well we can't tell you that or else the KGB will swoop in and kill us. But what we can tell you is that Doctor Jericho has been predicting this event for the past 5 minutes. Infact 5 minutes ago the doctor showed a map of Russia geeting destroyed on his state owned laptop. The governments response was to kill him. But before he died he said "Remember that there is a 100/0 percent chance of this happening."

That is how absurd this story is, and I can make my own predictions that are less absurd then his.

So 9 states (N.M., TX, OK, ARK, LA, MS, GA, FL, and AL) will become the "Texas Republic" and will be part of Mexico or influenced by it? LOL at the fictional Atlantic America. I've seen better maps on here. Honestly, it sounds like something from the Metal Gear series, it's weird but thought provoking. I really doubt that the US will meltdown before Mexico.

So, let's get this straight - you don't live in the United States, but somehow you feel qualified to suggest that we're on a crash course for civil war? And this is because you feel like all Americans "lack empathy for another human being"? That's brilliant. I guess I didn't realize I had a complete lack of empathy. You learn something new about yourself every day, huh?

When you can concoct something better than "they have handguns and no empathy," let me know.

All the little hyenas like to laugh themselves silly when The Big Lion trips and falls, but when the lion gets up things will be back the way they were, at least for the near future. America is still #1 in terms of Global Competitiveness and many other important measures, and its biggest challengers are small Potemkin Villages like Denmark.

It's true that EU (if counted as one economy) has already surpassed America's total GDP, China will soon (i.e. average Chinese finally making 1/4th as much as an average American), and India will by around 2050, but in terms of quality of life USA will remain on top. It's true that some small countries have already surpassed USA in terms of average individual income, but that's when comparing USA as a whole, rural Mississippi and all. Luxembourg should be compared to just Loudoun County, VA by itself for a valid comparison. Plus many of those countries are sitting on demographic time-bombs, either too many kids or too few - America gets it just right.

America's top economic hot-spots, over-taxed and over-regulated though they are, are still the best places in the world to make money. If they weren't, I wouldn't be here. Though it's probably a good idea to start learning Cantonese (Hong Kong) or Mandarin (Singapore) just in case. Russian? That happens to be my native language, and I don't see much value in it nowadays. Their economy is still driven by exports of raw materials and vast socialist / militarist initiatives like its space program - I'm not holding my breath.
