Thanks again! How is Germantown?

What is this rent control that's mentioned? We didn't have that in Chicago I don't think. Is it like section eight?

I've heard of the Gullah/Geechie people. Very interesting culture/heritage indeed. What is dangerous though? The neighborhood? I didn't even see a location on the website.

no its not section 8, which is a federal program. rent control is just what it is, keeping rent under control esp for elderly people

I thought Germantown was bad but wasn't sure. Are you a fan on Omar Tyree? He writes negatively about it a lot, lol.

Okay, I was reading up on it online and wasn't sure. It had a lot of negative feedback.

He's a fiction author. Most of his books are set in that neighborhood as that's where his main character is from. So far i'm seeing quite a few nice places in Mt. Airy, but what worries me is that it seems to be close to Germantown. How close are they aproximately?

dont worry, eastern cities are made of neighborhoods and you could have one good street an the next is bad. west mt airy is safe and clean, east mt airy is not, and germantown is the next neigborhood over but no worries
