As a White Sox fan I hate to say it but it's probably Wrigley Field and I'm including New York and Los Angeles. Hell, they even had a NHL game there recently.
A good argument could have been made for Yankee Stadium but It's gone now I don't see anything in Los Angeles to consider.
IMO, the only remaining premier sports venues left are (not in any order): Wrigley Field and Fenway Park. The rest are, for the most part, modern messes. They definitely dont build em like they used to anymore.

The #1 premier sporting arena, will still be Yankee Stadium. Even though it is a new one, it will still have the same aura as the old-and this is coming from a Mets fan. I will say that Wrigley and Fenway ranks up there. For football, I will say Lambeau Field.
It isn't listed, and is not still active, but I think Three Rivers Stadium was one of the great sports facilites with all the great games the Steelers played there.
Also on my list of great sport venues are Wrigley Field, Minute Maid park, Lambeau field, Neyland stadium (U of Tenn) , Kyle Field (Texas A&M) Madison Sq Garden, Rose Bowl, and The horseshoe (Ohio St. U)

Three Rivers? A 1970s astroturf multi-purpose bowl? They all were hideous...the Vet, Riverfront, Busch, etc. Although they made Busch look respectable in its last days by adding a grass field and taking out the outfield upper deck.

The old Yankee Stadium was a dump. I don't see what was so special about it. I know a lot of great teams played there, but once that place was renovated in the 1970's, the stadium itself was nothing special. Fenway and Wrigley blow away Yankee Stadium.
