What are your favorite beach towns, cities, or areas in the U.S. (This includes beaches along the Great Lakes)?

My personal favorites are Myrtle Beach-Grand Strand, VA Beach-Hampton Roads, Tampa-St. Peterburg, and Miami-Ft. Lauderdale.

Believe it or not, my favorite beaches are along the western Michigan shore. Theyre pristine, with lots of HUGE sand dunes (100s of feet tall), lush vegetation and crystal clear blue skies. The Lake Michigan waters can be a bit chilly, but it feels great after a long day of riding quads on the dunes. The Sleeping Bear Dunes are a great place to unwind and enjoy the un-crowded beach.

Ditto that - Benton Harbor is family friendly.
Although back in the day Oak street was an amazing
pick up beach.

1. The Outerbanks, NC - specifically north towards Currituck or south past Nags Head towards Salvo. I like beaches with less commercialization.
2. Gulf Island National Seashore, Pensacola, FL

Northwest Florida! Specifically, Cape San Blas, St Joseph Bay, between Panama City and Apalachicola.
Miles and miles of unspoiled white sand beaches. At night, you can see the stars. Daytime, you see incredible wildlife.
Just don't come here if you like to go clubbing.
