Guess again. This claim has been shot down in previous threads.

Why is NYC on this list when it is the city of all cities??

How silly.

You would surprised how much of an inferiority complex some recent New York arrivals have, they try to act like they have lived in Manhattan their whole lives.

And I have seen NYC posters get very offended when someone says that Hong Kong has a better skyline or that NYC is not the center of the universe. Heck, I think some NYers feel inferior to LA, at least by some of their posts.

Transplants probably. Us NYers who have lived here our whole lives are quick to defend NY if someone jumps to conclusion about something specific--like if they say there's filth and bums all over, we'll be all over it and explaining why it isn't like that anymore since that was nearly 20 years ago. But if someone says they'd prefer not to live in NY, most of us don't jump down their throats asking why and making it seem like they're inhuman if they feel that way.

This is how most of us feel. Which is why this entire thread is ridiculous. Everyone is judging these cities based on the few posters from each of the cities that make dumb threads like "this is why my city is better than yours". They overshadow all the other people who don't feel that way. I don't think you can go to any city and find that the majority of the people have a inferiority complex. Most people who are unhappy with the city they live in will just move to another city. If I had an inferiority complex towards another city I would just move to that city that I feel inferior to or just visit it often.

Futcha is the biggest exception to this and I based my vote off of him. Sorry to NYers, but I can't stand that kid.

I also voted for Chicago though, so don't worry.

Probably should have voted for SF too because of its inferiority to LA, but whatever...
