Well, I don't plan on abandoning my country...I guess that's how real men typically feel about this. I served my country, and feel that those who would choose to leave it when times get tough should go ahead and pack their stuff because it would make things alot better anyway. They are typically the ones who don't know what it means to tough anything out, and I personally am not a fan of sissys.

As for where would I reside if the US were not an option though, just to entertain the question, I'd say Brazil. I lived there for a year back when I was studying, and the people are awesome! The food, and the friendlyness is amazing.

If the United States falls apart, than each state will become it's own country. Some of them will be more powerful and better off, while some will be third world countries. I think California will be the state to retain the American idea of freedom and have a powerful military. It's also the 6th most powerful economy in the world. New York state will do fine too, and Florida will be a nation of tourism. Texas will have the oil and energy as well as agriculture, so their economy will be strong. Wouldn't want to live in the former rust belt states, or Southern states.

Those of us that choose to stay, i.e. me, will just tough it out the best we can. I don't know what we are expecting, but we must stay strong, determined, and resourceful. Come what may I'll be here either live or dead.

I read somewhere if you give lots of money to evangalists you go to heaven and that guys will stay with you if you get pregnant and that 9-11 was planned by Jews and ... and... and... that Hitler has a secret stash of gold and all our technology came from aliens... and... and... um... that Obama is the anti-christ and that Obama is our savior and that ummm. umm... Bobby said Christina has a crush on him, but I think she like Billy, but I really hope she likes me.

I can't believe how many sellouts there are here. Why don't you just pack up and leave now. Things aren't as bad as some say. They're bad, but we have been through bad time before. Think of all this country has been through.

It will only get as bad as We THE PEOPLE let it get. The constitution was written for US, not THEM. If we allow politicians to ruin the foundation of America, then it will be ruined. If we don't, it won't. As simple as that.

Lets all write our congressmen/women and ask them what the heck they've been doing. And where all our money is going.

I will stick if out here or move to Australia.

No matter what happens some people will still live pretty well here. Despite all the illegal immigration and economic woes there are plenty of people in Mexico who live comfortable middle class lives,

Of course there will be people who do just fine here.

Hell, on google earth of Kabul, Afghanistan, I saw neighborhoods with very large homes and pools in the back yard.
