How can one "insult the intelligence" of a person who touts themselves as having an IQ four standard deviations above the peons?

Anyway...you can have the last word. As it is, I have some fried okra and black-eyed peas to tend to.

Wouldn't he have had to insult you "four standard deviations above" to actually insult you? OK, ok, ok, I apologize. That was uncalled for. (Well, at least four standard deviations above being called for.)

Seriously, I couldn't help it. Just disregard it.

Too clever.
This whole debate is over the "tones" and "implications" of others' posts. I respond to his post saying that I wasn't sure of what he was saying. He responds by rolling his eyes saying he's not surprised. I'm pretty sure (considering the venomous nature of this thread) that many people would assume he is attacking my ability to understand things. That is when I coolly responded with my IQ scores to which he immediately began mocking me about. So I'd appreciate it if you would get off my back...that statement didn't come up out of no where.

I hate to say it, but I notice a lot of southerns on this board consistently put down others who don't like the same things they do.

Hey, we can't all like marrying our sisters, quitting school at age 10, having slaves, and hunting coon!

Just kidding of course!

Yes, but only the really lucky ones of us can do it with the "four standard deviations above" panache.

Just kidding of course!

I forgot to help you on this one (that's why I'm posting so late).

If in the doubtful circumstance that I was wrong in assuming that you were insulting my intelligence (which for the nth time was the reason for bringing up IQ), then there would be something wrong with the presupposition, not the reasoning that follows.
