13 miles. Alexandria, VA to outside Fort belvoir, VA. Takes about 25 minutes each way.

29 miles one way. I could have had a different job near my house, but I simply like my job so well that I don't mind driving a bit.

My employer relocated last year, so now my commute is approximately 60 miles (that's 120 miles per day). My commute time is about 90 minutes each way, but it can easily top two hours when the weather is crappy like it was the past couple days.

Yeah, it sucks.

For years I went 70 miles door to door. Then after I moved (same job) for many more years - just three miles. The reason I went 70 miles was it was never our intention that I would work (that was hubby's commute), but things happen.
