Default What is the most conservative small town (Pop. < 10,000) in America?

What is the most conservative small town in america? Looking for a town smaller then 10,000 population. I'm looking for conservative residents, politicians, judges, media, business, churches and schools. Good old fashioned america the way it was 50 years ago. Low crime and friendly people who dont view old time viewpoints or morals as a step backwards or anti-progressive. If you have first hand knowledge of the recommended area all the better. Thanks in advance. Looking forward to your responses.

In NY, Putnam County might fit what you want. Maybe small towns in the Midwest, the South or in states like Idaho, Colorado, Montana, the Dakotas and Utah.

Probably wasn't specific enough. We are looking for actual towns that would encompass these ideals. I know there are a lot of states and even area's that have reputations. Anyone with first hand experience and specific towns for us to check out? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Fort Smith, Arkansas is that conservative, though it has 72,000 people. Any of the small towns outside Fort Smith would fit your description.

I don't think you'll find any place that is like 1958. The world has changed.

Anywhere in Utah would definitely fit the bill.

Check out:

Alpine
Ephraim
Heber
Monticello
Payson
Vernal

If you don't mind towns a little larger than 10,000, also check out:

Brigham City
Cedar City
Springville
