In Philly, the area around 12th & Pine. Beautiful neighborhood.
Characteristics, IMO: preppy-professional, upscale.
Wonder if Pine St. Pizza is still cranking out those awesome pies?
Not much with bars and what have you, residential, but antiques are aplenty! And you can walk to about everything you need, including South & Market Streets --so if you like to walk a little, nothings far at all.

I was gonna say Lakeview/Boystown as well, cool, friendly neighborhood, and just several blocks east of Wrigley Field, too. :>).
Characteristics, IMO: Down to earth, upbeat, heaven for a baseball fan, I noticed mainly younger folks
(20s-30s). No pretense here, really. People just blend.
If you have a car, which you wouldn't even need living here, parking can be a challenge.
