Over the Christmas break, my family and I visited my mom's mom in West Palm Beach. When we were there, we spent a day at the Everglades and on the way there and back, we drove right thruogh Miami. My impression of Miami (and South Florida) was: I was amazed about the culture their. Also, I am really in to architecture and I could see downtown and the building boom from a couple of miles away. Finally, I thought the neighborhoods, even though some are a little dangerous, were really nice.

But, my friend visited LA a couple months ago and was telling me about it. I just have to say that his from what he said, my perception of LA is very positive.

OK, here's were you come in. I'm curious about both of these cities but I don't know much about them. I think it would be good if you could fill me in.

Ask a mod to move it and be patient. Do not make a new one.

Obviously Miami is filled with Red Necks, if your going to stereotype, please at least do it correctly.

I like Miami...both cities are extremely diverse, but I like the HOT weather, not the mild to hot. I think the terrain in LA is much nicer, and there are more tourist attractions, but better looking people on South Beach in my opinion.

Neither-both overpriced & LA gang/traffic probems. Miami-very overprice-very dumpy IMO-even South Beach.
