Of course there is Illinois mangled as "Ill-A-Noise", and my favorite is Oregon pronounced "Or-e-gone". What are some others?

Some natives call it Jaw-ja and sometimes judge-a (yes I've heard it that way before). I say pronounce it like jor-ja.

There's no official way to say it, but I don't get why people pronounce it "Missourah".

One thing I've noticed is that native Texans pronounce it more like Texaz, and some non-natives pronounce it like Texess. (It's kind of hard to describe it in text.)

Washington State sometimes gets pronounced "Warshington", mostly by longtime natives!
