NYC's population: 8,274,527 , Chicago's population: 2,836,659. With such a stark difference in population, I would hope that Chicago would be a little cleaner than New York.

In any case, Orlando are definitely cleaner than Chicago, but that doesn't make Orlando a "cleaner version of Chicago".

Chicago is not a "cleaner version of New York", they are completely different cities with completely different purposes and vibes. Chicago is just a dirtier version of Dallas.

Actually Chicago is known as one of the cleanest cities in the county, especially the downtown area. The city is almost bizzarly anal about being clean.

There are whole crews who work 24 hours a day 7 days a week just picking up any trash and tidying up the central area. Many streets in the city have parking restrictions to be completely cleaned once a week, and all streets are swept and cleaned once a month at min.

As far as New York, every street in Chicago has an alley in the back, which helps a LOT. The alleys are to be kept lighted and cleaned, and there are pretty strict rules on trash bins/dumpsters. They have to be sealed and dumpsters are to be elevated so rats can't get in.

At the end, they're totally different cities though, it doesn't make a lot of sense to compare them.

If you were to take away ALL of eastern San Bernardino county and ALL of Eastern Riverside county then LA CSA would still be 17million.
