I fixed the link. Read it if your interested. The 2000 numbers are used because those are official, rather than using 2007 estimates. BTW, I know NYC has a higher population than LA . We are talking metro density, not total population.

California state is bigger than NY
NYC is more populated than LA

I am a Solcaler (well, you may think I am an imported one though)

I love Solcal and many other places too

However, I would not pick the south to live

For their bugs love me too much in the summer

And the southern accident is tough for someone not made-in-USA too

the types that i am talking about would never be interested in posting on citydata. their knowledge of the internet begins and ends with facebook and youtube.

I found people from Cali to be a lot friendlier and more down to earth then the rumors made them out to be. The people from NYC were just as advertised.
