I remember visiting SHSU on college day, and they sat me in this weird little room with a bunch of SHSU paraphanalia and a little TV. I was wondering how lame the video was going to be, and then Dan Rather poped up as the narrator! It was still lame, but I had lived in the area for 17 years up to that point and thought it was cool that someone of National significance had a tie to Sam. I eventually didn't attend other than a 3hr. course a couple years later because it was too close to home......
