Cincinnati we have a distinct kind of Chile , it is most often served over pasta with tethered cheddar cheese on top of it, there are other variations of it though.

Now Philly has the cheese steak,
N.Y has there thin crust pizza,
Chicago has a few items that identify themselves with The Italian beef, The Chicago dog, and also the Deep Dish Pizza,

I was wondering what some of the foods are around the country....

Here is a pic of the Cincinnati Style Chile Spaghetti

There is an omlette called "Denver Omlette", but I don't know if it originated in Denver or if it's just a name. Mexican restaurants abound here.

Ft. Myers: Like the rest of Florida....... Oranges, Orange juice and anything else related to citrus. I suppose a Honeybell is a specific example.

Upper Michigan has "Pasties"---its meat and vegetables wrapped in a crust (similar to pie crust) and baked. Delicious, very filling, always used to contain rutabaga, but they now often leave that out because the tourists don't like it.

Also in northern Wisconsin and Upper Michigan, Broasted Chicken is very popular---chicken cooked in a special "broaster" that injects steam into it.

Throughout Wisconsin, Frozen Custard is more popular than ice cream---it's like soft-serve, but made with real ingredients, not just chemicals and fat.

In Wisconsin, everybody actually eats Bratwurst (and drinks beer)---it's the favorite at all cookouts.
