Don't get on my case for answering someone's post to see NY medical centers. You guys still refuse to admit that NY's is bigger, lol. Just take a look at all those pictures. I think Cornell med and NYU med centers alone are the same size as Houston's. That's not including the other 10 or so med centers in NY.
the problem here is that you keep repeating what you "think" is to be true. how about you do a little research about which has the largest medical center and then post that information. people can't argue with facts. it would do wonders in ending all this nonsense.

But the whole question in the thread was the most medical FACILITIES. Not just facility, like the one in Houston some people are talking about. That's ONE. It's asking which city has the MOST.

I think the adjective "most" in this case is referring to qualitive, not quantative.

The TMC is not one medical facility. I don't know how many times we can tell you this. There are 50 separate medical facilities and research facilities in the TMC. It would be as if I called Manhattan a medical facility. The TMC is a district, not a medical facility. Are you starting to understand now?
damn I just read through this entire thread for the first time and some of ya'll (Rachel84) just can't let Houston win or be good at anything. Give credit where credit is due and for Houston this is one of those cases. Houston deserves to win this poll imo but doesn't mean other cities are not good as well.
SOME Californians, Texans, and Northeasterners seriously have the biggest ego's and need to get over themselves and their home regions perceived importance in anything and everything. No wonder so many people stereotype these regions.

well i certainly don't put houston above any city in any other category. i think we underperform in just about every sector except for the oil and medical industry. considering the size of houston we should be better at more stuff but we aren't. i just don't get why some people refuse to even let us win this one.
It's kinda like that thread about who has the best zoo. it's well known that's san diego does. that doesn't mean no one else has a great zoo. it's just that i'm not going to argue that my city has a better zoo just because i've been to the one here and i think it's just so damn great that i refuse to look at the facts. same can be said about just about every other city and what they are known for.
