It is supposed to be in the mid-50's today in southern New England and near freezing at night. We aren't exactly shutting off the heat at this point.

Gonna be almost 70 in Chicago tomorrow, then back to the 40s on the weekend. Not exactly what I call a "heat wave". LOL

Because in March, PA weather is up and down constantly. 60 one day, 30 and snowing the next day.

OMG it looks like alot of temperature records are getting broken on March(12)
Rapid city, SD where Jammie lives is already 80 degrees and warming! This beats the old record! Lots of records broken in the northern states! Wow I cant even imagine what summers are gonna be like. The experts are saying expect hundreds of new city and state records. Could go to 100, 110 or even 120 degrees in many parts of the USA

A true heat wave would have some temperatures forecast above 100 F.

It was ~ 70 here today (Denver), just as it was 23 yrs ago when my daughter was born. It is not record setting, obviously. And that year (1984) turned out to have one of the coldest springs. Here in CO, March often comes in like a lamb and goes out like a lion. Winter is not over yet!
