Can you drink it? Does it taste good? Is it soft or hard?

Here in Victoria Texas, it is wonderful. It nearly always tastes good, but maybe a few weeks out of the year it has an unpleasant aroma. I don't know anybody who uses bottled water. There is something very clean about it---I never need to use a toilet scrubber, and it always looks like you can drink out of it.

white as milk. But if you give it 10 minutes it settles and you can drink it.

I've never had an issue with Chicago's water. It's drawn from 2 miles out and at the bottom of Lake Michigan.

Thats just air in the pipes. It's still fine to drink even when it's milky.

San Antonio: water comes from Edwards aquifer, is very hard but no noticeable bad taste. I usually drank water from the tap.

Austin: water comes from the Colorado River, doesn't taste as good as San Antonio's IMO. Moderately hard, but still drinkable from the tap.

San Diego: 90% of water imported from NorCal. Hard water, tastes like dust. Barely palatable from the tap. I had to invest in water filters.

Minneapolis gets their water from the Mississippi. It comes out of the tap soft, and only tastes awkward during spring runoff. I don't know how people live with hard water.

Hey, at least you get the water before Quad Cities, Sioux Falls, Sioux City, Omaha, KC, St. Louis, Memphis, etc etc. dump their sh*t in it!!

I find that mine has a bad taste. Not bad enough that I wont drink it, but bad enough to notice that its slightly metallic or something. I drink bottled when I can. Maybe its the pipes in my house or something.
