It's more like 50/50, at least the schools I went to. My high school was actually 70% or more black. Anyway... they are counting west Omaha in those statistics, which is mostly white.

Stay away from Memphis. There's only 2 high schools that arent more than 75% black. Even most suburban high schools are at least 25% black.

Im not saying it's a bad thing though. I went to a school that was 60% black and I loved it.

Where did you go to HS? Benson, North, Northwest?

It's not a thing of staying away from or going to any of the schools or school districts. I was just trying to see what places fit the bill, because there seems to be a perception of what "urban" means.

peoria, il is not mostly white students. 3 out of the 4 high schools are mostly black. and neither is rockford, il. naperville, il is one though.
