Here's the High school i went to in Newark.
Arts School, Newark New Jersey / NJ school information and ethnic makeup

I was one of the few 31 caucasian in my Graduation class of 98.
It was actually the the only good public high school in Newark. So i was pretty fortunate.

But the highschools in my area are
Lodi High School, Lodi New Jersey / NJ school information and ethnic makeup < Lodi High (wost than the one i went to in Newark!)

Hackensack High
Hackensack High School, Hackensack New Jersey / NJ school information and ethnic makeup

It is interesting how Arts high schools in urban districts seem to have more White students than the other high schools in that district, generally. That is the case in Rochester, NY and somewhat in Buffalo.

Here's the district I went to school in, btw:Westhill School District

In a situation similar to Newarkbomb's, I was 1 of 3 Black students in my senior class of 128 back in 1994. One of them was adopted by a White couple and the other guy was a deaf student that lived outside of the district, but went there due to a program our HS had at the time. Here's more info.:https://www.nystart.gov/publicweb/District.do?year=2007&county=ONONDAGA&district=420 701060000 (broken link)
