Florida also had a huge Breaks scene during the 90's. I suppose in cities like Orlando you might find some people Break Dancing.

The music sounds absolutely nothing like it used to. Progressive & Funky Breaks out of the UK are whats hot right now. Florida Breaks were popular in the 90's.

Artists like BT, Adam Freeland, Plump Dj's, Stanton Warriors, etc. is whats being played in the clubs.

Breakdancing never died, and people are doing it just about everywhere. California in general is pretty big for break dancing.

YouTube - Crank That Soulja Boy - KID CAN DANCE!

I seen this same kid gettin jiggy with it to a UNK song on 7th and Market streets in SF after lovefest. He had his jar out and a huge crowd gathered and he must have made 200 bucks easy. At the end he picked up the bucket and ran off to his family posting outside a liquor store in the TL.
