Sometimes I understand why Obama chose Columbia and Harvard over any local schools. Buddy, cubs have the worst record of any major league sports team in the nation. Sox won twice, and Bears haven't in over 20 years. Do you get it now? I think Forbes should have made a special Chicago edition of their report so you guys could get it...

In context, we are talking about 2008, since that what the article is referring to. You bringing up historical records means absolutely nothing in this context. In 2008, Chicago had some decent sports teams.

It should be automatic, like whenever we post something it throws out the same post over and over. It's like how some languages have many words for one thing it has many ways to post the same thing.
This 'list' was really poorly conceived, 'researched', and verbally described. Forbes has got this 'ranking thing' going on....they obviously 'ranked' everything they could think of, so now we get this dribble. Aboslutely. Chicago Sun-Times (local paper with no national circulation) put this on the cover and than printed some drivel how Forbes misunderstood Chicago. As a matter of fact the front page hedaline said "New York's Forbes..." just to make sure that since Forbes is located in New York it just had to be biased
The piece responding to Forbes states that Chicago can't be seen as miserable because of Blago affair or Ryan or the fact that, as Forbes printed, 385 public officials in the state has been convicted of corruption.
Sun Times claims that Blago affar was at most amusing to Chicagoans and never a reason to feel miserable. Well, now I understand why Sun Times has no national circulation. To claims that the fact that the last two governors turned out to be crooks and there is a deep rooted corrcuption in the City and state is amusing you have to be somehow retarded.
Do you think it a good reason to be amused knowing that your tax money is being stolen by a parade of crooked politicians? Wow. That's deep.
I find most lists to be totally bogus and many of the respondents seem to have an agenda.
