A Tribune article last year said Chicago had 75,000 gang members.

I can copy/paste the entire report or you can check the stats yourself at : Federal Bureau of Investigation - Uniform Crime Reports

Hey, what did you expect from the state where governors make license plates?

That report was a bunch of hot air, it told me nothing. LA isnt as bad as it used to be and NYC really isnt that bad at all. So as long as Chicago isnt ahead of cities like New Orleans, Detroit, and Baltimore, its OK

Illinois at number 1

and then you got California,Nevada,New Mexico, and Colorado to round out the top 5

then you got Florida and Idaho.

Im really surprised that Colorado and Idaho have that many gang members.
Gang bangin in Aspen is a way of life I guess.

Chicago has always been the gang capital in my eyes. Not Los Angeles.

Illinois has two gang hubs....Chicago, and East St. Louis.....everyone seems to forget that East St. Louis is in Illinois.

Just because a place has violence does not necessarily mean it has gangs.

To be honest with you America's gangs have really softened. I've flipped supposed gangsters off plenty of times on my way home from work and nothing ever happens. I know there are gangs who are real, but the majority of these guys are faker than Mickey Mouse in Times Square.
