The Fan:

The only grimey areas of Richmond I can think of are along Jeff Davis HWY in the SE part of town and across the River.

W. Broad St is being revitalized. VCU is expanding, and a lot of nice new buildings are coming around there.

Monument Ave is possibly one of the most gorgeous throughfares of any city in the USA.
Right off the interstate, 5th street exit, turn right on Broad and heading towards VCU is a pretty dirty part of that street. Right around the intersection of Belvedere and Broad.

You're right about Monument though. A friend of mine lives on the corner of Monument and Belmont and I like that area a lot. I like Carytown a lot too.

Someone just told me they didn't believe that Malt O Meal is made in Northfield, MN, so I am posting this:

I would like to state for the record that when I left you that message with the rep points, I wasn't disputing the truthfulness of your post. I was responding to a nasty comment that somebody apparently left me with your name. Don't worry, it's been taken care of. Sorry.

for the most part, European cities don't have suburbs. Also, most European countries don't have room to sprawl considering how small central Europe itself is.

What??? Just think of what you've typed in here: there is no room to sprawl yet there are no suburbs. So what's outside the city limits? A desert?

Back on topic for Christ's sake! I like Cracklin' Oat Bran an awful lot, but sometimes Oh's! are good for the same effect. Cinnamon Toast Crunch is good when I'm feeling indulgent. I've been to Northfield, Minnesota. I know that Malt' O Meal is right there at Hwy 3 and 19. I also know that the James Gang got shot up there. And I once knew a girl on Jefferson Parkway.

No, its small community's and farms. Look at Germany's largest cities for example, Berlin has a population of 3.4 million, yet Urban Berlin has only 3.7 million people (3.4 million of them live within the city limits of Berlin). So its not a desert, it's just small communities and A LOT of farmland.

Cereal is fine and dandy, and coldwine does love herself a bowl. But let me tell you, today I had a peanut butter and banana sandwich with cinnamon... and it was cooked or somehow otherwise pressed/made...

Oh god it was so delicious.
