^^^^^ Or anywhere for that matter. Let DC deal with the hassles associated with being the nation's capital.

Plus, we already have a White House.

A smart place to have a capital would be somewhere close to the center of the country, preferrably surrounded by mountains. And most of Colorado sounds like it could be able to provide that.
When I went to Montenegro, its old capital was Cetinje...way up high, surrounded by mountains. It was interesting to see that. But it makes the most sense from a security standpoint for a country's capital.
Though I haven't been to Denver, it is surrounded by mountains, isn't it? Well then, it makes sense. And it's kind of in the center of the country. More in the center than DC is, anyway.

Denver is on the plains, it is not surrounded by mountains. The mountains are to the west.

Sweet Tea?!!! awww geeee lets move it today.

......this is stupid.

let's all make threads suggesting our home town as a new capital.

Winchester, MA has great access to Boston and there are several pizza places. It has not had significant industry since the tanneries closed down 100 years ago. Hoooows about a new capital, eh?

MOUNTAINS WON'T SAVE YOU NOW. VZOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOUUUUM

but ya, Denver is the back-up. Isn't that openly acknowledged by the c-d bureaucracy?

PS Denver is not surrounded by mountains
