I didn't become an American by my own merit, nor am I proud of the actions of others. So, no. I'll get jumped on for this, but I truthfully am not nor do I even remotely comprehend the concept.
To me, America is such a unique mixture of cultures. Even the Mexicans bring a wonderful influence to our culture. I say America- LOVE IT OR LEAVE IT !!

I'm proud to be a citizen of the world. I always get a kick out of TV news when some tragedy occurs overseas and they report how many Americans were affected.
Yet I don't see either of you leaving America. Funny how that works.
This place is by far the best. God bless the good ol' USA.
Nowhere did I say that I didn't like America. And the day when they stop taking money out of my checks is the you can tell me to leave, thanks.
What makes living in America much less pleasurable is obnoxious chest thumpers who think that if you don't spend every hour of the day sodomizing yourself with a flag pole, you don't belong here.
