Highest-income counties in the United States - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
My county borders Morris and Somerset Counties in NJ, two of NJ's 3 top 10 for the latest year on the link. Hunterdon County, the third, is two counties away from me, bordering both Somerset and Morris, actually, and is just under an hour away from where I am. My county (Union) has a few cities and less nicer towns, let's say, that outweigh the really nice ones when it comes to income stats, so it doesn't make the list.

Seriously. 3 of NJ's counties are in the top 10 and I know people from each of those counties. They are some of the best people I know.

Very true...

Note: Number 11 on the list is over 40% black too.

76 miles from #27. Far enough that we don't get much of their riff-raff here. That county has 3.3 times the income of my county, which ranks 58th in my state.

I think Douglas Co, CO makes the list more to its absence of poor people, rather than to a huge % of very wealthy people.
