Default I'll use my home state..

..and not my current one, for this.

VT's best quality is its people; they are very quietly proud of their state, and its traditions of equality ( first state to outlaw slavery, etc) and fairness. They do not shout at the top of their lungs about it, but it's there.

VT's worst quality-its cost of living, very high for a rural state bording Canada. Many would like to move there, but it's not the most affordable, especially around Burlington.

Best: the diversity and I don't just mean the people, but the landscape too.

Worst: the taxes and the harsh weather at times.
