I thought the LA metro area had a bigger population than NY's?

Also, shouldn't CT be included in metro NY? I don't know if that 19 million is factoring in SW CT.

No. LA has never had a larger msa/csa population than NYC.

NYC's Combined Statistical Area (CSA) includes CT. The numbers I posted are for Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSA) only.

Atlanta actually slowed a bit but it's on relative speaking.

Houston should pass Philly this year or next.
