Dunno why though, but that seems to be the case.
Northerners stick together, help each other out by planting crops, barn raising, and other things that will help the needs of the less fortunate. This may go on in the south some, but for the most part its a Northern thing.
I am not sure and do not quote me, but could be that a lot of folks in the south may be too independent to except help, or, their friends and neighbors are even worse off than the folks needing help. I am sure everyone does help in building and or fixing up the church, that seems to be located at every crossroads in the South.

Do Cities with Cold Climates have better people?

Only people in cold climates would think this is true, and I wonder why??
LOL this is silly because good and bad people are everywhere. The colder climate states do not have a monopoly on "better people."

This is really a dumb question.

Agreed, however some interesting things have come out of this thread, when you sort through the bull.
Actually I think part of the problem in the South is they are still fighting the Civil War ! After the war the South was in shambles , people had nothing, and were taken advantage of by the carpetbaggers among others from the North. In some parts Yankees are still not to be trusted! I know , I lived in the South 18 years, met some real nice people, and, some that were vary cautious with their money and their business deals.

If it were true that one of the qualities of better people were people that were more intelligent, that would likely mean that people not in cold climates were less intelligent. These less intelligent people would then come on this thread to mistakenly say that the thread was dumb when in reality they just did not comprehend their status and were actually proving that in fact cold weather climates have better, more intelligent people.

Gotta go to the barn raising now.
