I can empathize. I've felt the sting of a 60 mph raindrop and the chill of wet pantlegs. Takes the fun right out of the ride.

Again, I agree. The interstate is good if you are destination oriented and need t get somewhere quickly. But all the fun is on teh backroads. I tell folks up this way, "If you really want to see Maine, get the heck off the interstate!"
