Litterally, Albuquerque. Shhesh you should even apply at Channels 4, 7 or 13.
Local sports here is great. This is Lobo town, and everyone goes crazy for Lobo sports here
.. plus you could cover more than that.
High School sports too.. I figure you would like it here.

LA is good, a lot of teams, lots of colleges, big city media, plus the NFL network and ESPN west coast studios are here

Never start out in a major market. Start small, and then work your way up. That said, you can always start in a place like Boise, Syracuse, Austin, Omaha, Birmingham, or something like that.

I agree...For instance, while growing up and living here in Syracuse people like: Mike Tirico, Steve Levy, Bill Pidto, Steve Cyphers, Adam Schein, Dave Cohen and some others did worked in sports journalism here either on TV or Radio. There have been many people that have gone on to national or major market news success that did work here too: Al Roker, David Muir, Dan Kloeffler and some others. Other markets in NY State like: Binghamton, Elmira, Watertown, Rochester and Albany, among others have had some go on to bigger things as well.
