Where should i live?
Need an ASIAN City..should I live in ???

toronto, vancouver, melbourne, auckland, or wellington???

WHICH CITY SHOULD I LIVE IN?

CRITERIA
what i am looking for?

-must have a a city with a large, integrated asian population
like a vancouver or san francisco (both of which are over 30 percent asian), which isn't confined to some ethnic enclave

-must have great clean, efficient, public transportation,
trains, buses etc and a dense city where i can around easily by foot or bus

-preferably a city with lots of nature
scenic, mountains, trees, beaches, ocean, coastal city preferable

-prefer a clean city,
not lots of trash, homeless etc

-prefer safe, crime, drug free city
where u can walk along safely at night

-prefer a busy happening, nightlife city,
but one close to nature, water

-prefer a cultural artistic city
with culture, museums, art etc

-must have mild weather,
i might be okay with snow..
just can't stand humidity, (otherwise kyoto in japan, or singapore would be great),

also i can't deal with extreme rain (vancouver just rains 3/4ths of the year),

i might be okay with cold weather, i am from san francisco afterall so the windy, cold does not bother me, constant rain does or constant humidity

-prefer nice people, i heard the people in new zealand are nice

-prefer slow pace, i did like the slow pace of vancouver, sf, and the west coast in general..

any suggestions? i know nothing is going to fit all my criteria...

again, i was thinking melbourne (australia), toronto (canada), vancouver (canada) auckland (new zealand), or wellington (new zealand)..

*other small city choices, christ church, dunedIn, both in new zealand

Fort Lee and Palisades Park, NJ are both right next to each other around 40% Asian.

The two towns are at the foot of the George Washington Bridge.

Try Singapore anyhow. Everything is climate-controlled, even the train stations. Honolulu is also a decent choice.

Didn't you just answer your own question? Sounds like SF or Vancouver is perfect for you. I've been to both and personally, I would love to live in Vancouver. It's so beautiful there!

Well, just so you know, there are a few U.S. cities with a high, well established asian population:
San Francisco, CA: 31% Asian, coastal, clean, classic architecture.
San Jose, CA: 27% Asian, rarely rains.
Sacramento, CA: 17% Asian
Oakland, CA: 15.% Asian, but unfortunately not very safe.
San Diego, CA: 14% Asian, pretty safe, very coastal, rarely rains.
Seattle, WA: 13% Asian, very clean and safe.
