Hmm, I suppose California is the safest bet then.

San Fransisco seems pretty interesting, but how hard is it to live there?

Just for background info, I'm working on my pilot's licenses and plan to move right after getting them done. Does San Fransisco have many pilot opportunities do you think for a new pilot? Ex. seaplanes, small tours and the like? I'm sure there'd be something there other than airlines (which I won't be able to do for a long time, not planning on it at the moment anyways). I've never lived in a bigish city so I have no idea what it's like lol

Thanks for the help guys

SAN DIEGO is a good bet based on what you are looking for. The weather is MILD all year (esp. near the coast).

And San Diego is VERY LAID BACK yet it also has a cosmopolitan downtown with cultural institutions, nightlife, etc.

I say San Diego is your best bet. It has mild weather, and it isn't as expensive as San Francisco or L.A region.
San Diego as said by the earlier poster.. Laid Back, and a lot of things to do.

I never recommend Phoenix/Southern AZ region. We get 4 brutal months of heat, 6 1/2 months of amazing weather. If you have air conditioning everywhere. Everywhere, fans, more fans. etc. Sunglasses, hats, . Then you're good with Phoenix.

Pick SoCal,lol, I left there because I wanted 4 seasons, although not too severe of a winter.

You should strongly consider New England--cold and beautiful...

Syracuse area is perfect. It's more about the snow than the cold, but it is cold enough.

Pretty much anywhere in Upstate NY would do.

Exactly do you mean by "homie"?
