Has a survey been done on this? By AAVE I mean African American vernacular English - 'he be workin'', that kind of thing. Also, the southern-inflected AAVE accent (non-rhoticism etc, 'fo sho').

Also, do most blacks in states like Oregon, Alaska, just speak GAE like other Americans?
