Does going in abandoned buildings off 137th and St Anne's to pick up bundles count?

I've seen those apartments in those high-rises (Cabrini Green, Chicago), and I doubt anyone would trade a home (or half of one) for that crap.

Besides over-the-rhine in Cincinnati I haven't really seen any "ghetto-ish" neighborhoods. Some bad areas where I would not walk outside at night but nothing that bad.

don't think for a second that a lot of projects in the NE aren't infested with roaches, bed bugs, mice, rats, etc. and that you can't get robbed, shot, etc. easily in them.

east ny is nothing to really play around with. neither is far rockaway.

on the J train (or the L i guess), or the A/C trains i can look out the window and be good. i got it, no need to get off, lol.

When I lived in Louisville I actually liked riding my bike through the rougher areas. I never felt threaten or intimidated - other than one time when a White police officer accused my of storing drugs in my cooler bag. I guess if a clean cut White guy is in a Black neighborhood something has to be criminally wrong It was interesting riding on a bike trail through Shawnee Park and probably being one of 5 White people there. Most people thing you'd be randomly shot at but I didn't feel any hostility at all - probably much less than a Black guy riding a bike in a 99% White city park.
