Its not the best city in the U.S., thats for sure. This is one place I can say I have actually been, and I was thoroughly unimpressed. There were lots of sprawling housing developments and it didn't feel urban at all. It was pretty in some parts, but that's about it.

Thomas Edison had his winter home there, so if it's good enough for him then it should be good enough for everyone.

Ft. Myers is far from the best city in the US. There were some nice parts here and there. For the most part, it is a crime ridden, overpriced, bland town.

Because you said it is. There is a lot of that kind of logic on these boards, especially on the politics and current events forums.

The crime is very high in Ft.Myers. People here in Naples make fun of Ft.Myers all the time. There really isn't anything worth seeing there. There's Norman Love's store and Germain arena, but that's actually outside the city.

___Insert mandatory Rachael84 comment about how obvious it is that NYC is the best city in the world and that no city could ever compare and that if another city thinks it's as good as NYC, it's obviously never been to NYC and shouldn't even bother to try because NYC is almighty_____

New Jersey is the most culturally "Southern" state in the union. Discuss.
